Can Trailer Lights Mount to Wood and Still Ground Properly
Published 11/09/2021 >
Question:
Id like to place trailer lights on a removable board and run the wiring straight from the lights to the four prong vehicle harness. I know that magnetic lights dont need to be grounded to the trailer, or even be on the trailer to work. Can this be done with standard trailer lights that have better weather resistance? Thanks

As long as you use trailer lights that have ground wires instead of grounding through the hardware what you are wanting to do is possible. You'd just run the wire of the 4-way like what comes with the part # 18004 to the ground of each assembly.
