Published 11/09/2021 >
Question:
I have the provided electrical bracket that was supplied with the base plate kit for my 2010 Honda CRV but I don’t find instructions on where to mount it or a break away switch. Did I miss something?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Typically the trailer wiring mounting bracket that comes with the # e98956 is attached to the lower bumper of the vehicle by drilling into the lower fascia and attaching to it with the included hardware. You could then attach the breakaway switch to the holes on the base plate kit to the sides of the inserts.
