How Does Password of Master Lock Safe Space Portable Storage Box with Combination Lock Reset

Question:

I have a safe space that I put up at a yard sale. I do know the combination. It is in the lock mode but the safe is open. The reset button will not move. It has 4 dials. Is their a way to reset the password. I’ve tried 0000 with no luck.

If you don't know the password of the # ML5900D there isn't a way to reset it. If you do know it you'd need to put in the current password so that you could then move the reset button and while it's held roll the numbers to the new password you want.
