I have a 2003 Tiffin Allegro motorhome that plugs into 50 amp service. What size solar panel system would I need to not only change the batteries but also be able to run the air conditioner?

If you wanted ability to power an AC unit mostly off of solar panel as well as charge batteries plus other electric accessories as well you'd need a setup with a lot of wattage like our Go Power Solar AE-6 All Electric System with 3 MPPT Solar Controllers # 342-75011 which is rated for 1,140 watts.
