I am searching for a hitch for my 2011 A6 quattro, to tow a small power boat. What are my options please?

The best option for your 2011 Audi A6 is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11344. It has a maximum gross trailer weight of 2,000 lbs and maximum tongue weight of 200 lbs. You will need to check your owner's manual to find what your A6 is capable of towing as well. You will be limited by whichever is lower, the hitch capacity or the towing capacity of your vehicle.
Since you will be doing some towing, I recommend the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236. This will provide a 4-way connection at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights. For a ball mount, I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 1-1/4" Hitches - 2" Ball - 3/4" Rise - 3,500 lbs # C45147
