Recommended Trailer Hitch for Towing With a 2021 Ford Ranger

Question:
My truck has a factory bumper hitch that appears to be more sturdy than just a hole in a bumper. It also has a 4 wire plug in for lights only. Which hitch would be just a step up for light duty towing a maby a bike rack? Thanks,

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e63ZR is a fit for a 2021 Ford Ranger and what I recommend using for towing. It features a bolt-on install and simply attaches under the rear crossmember. It has a 6,000 lb gross trailer weight rating and 900 lb tongue weight rating. It is compatible with the towable rear bumper. In addition to being stronger it also allows for you to better choose the hitch height.
