Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Control Plug in Adapter for 2019 Lexus GX460
Published 10/01/2021 >
Question:
I need to know what I need for this to work on a 2019 Lexus GX460. I want to add the controller, wiring harness and pre drilled for the dash. Which products do I need to go with this controller? The vehicle was pre-wired with tow package. My old 2015 Tundra harness plugs in to the same plug under the dash. Lexus plug has 5 wires, Large Red Power, Large Ground, and 3 smaller gauge wires.

For your 2019 Lexus GX460 you are going to need the Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers - Pigtail - Toyota item # 3040-S. This is the wiring harness for the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller item # RED44FR you referred to. This will plug directly into that plug in your picture.
