Should There be Ridge on Bottom of 5th Airborne Premium 5AS16K
Updated 09/30/2021 | Published 09/28/2021 >
Question:
I purchased the hitch from you a few weeks back and just now was installing and noticed on the plate from the hitch pin back to where the spring shock attaches has a ridge. This ridge does not allow the wedge to set flat against the plate. Is this the way it supposed to be?

Thank you for the purchase, and yes there is supposed to be a ridge at the bottom of the 5th Airborne Premium 5th Wheel Air Ride King Pin with Sidewinder - No Turret # 5AS16K.
If you take a look at the photo I have added, you can see that ridge which does not allow the wedge to sit completely flat, which is normal.
