Question:

How do I install SKS lock cores in my Showdowns and how many lock cores do I need pair of Showdowns? Thanks.

To add locks to the Yakima Showdown part # Y04081 that you referenced you'd want the part # Y07202 which comes with a lock core for each part of the carrier assembly. To install the lock cores you insert the blank change key that is included into a core and then insert the core into the carrier and once you pull the change key out it is installed into the carrier.
