I am wanting to install a 4-way connector on my 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan but am a little concerned on how to connect it to the tail lights. Can you help me out?

Installing a 4-way connector on your 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan is not going to be too difficult, just a little time consuming due to having to run a power wire from the control module to the positive terminal of your battery.
When installing the harness like the Curt # C56403 you will need to remove the trim panels and from the center of your rear cargo area, along with the trays on each side. You will then remove the access vents on each side of the vehicle which perfectly expose the tail light connectors that the harness will T into.
If you take a look at the included install video of the # C56403 on a 2021 Tiguan it will help a lot as Ryan does a great job of showing the install process with great detail.
