I have an answer for you. I went ahead and reached out to my contact at Yakima, and she confirmed that they do not currently have a fitting/adapters for a direct mounting option of the Yakima LockNLoad to your factory flush rails on your 2021 Chevy Tahoe. There is always the option of a custom installation of the platform, but that process will involve drilling straight into the roof of your vehicle. Another thing that I confirmed is that even without the crossbars installed, there is only a little noticeable difference between the shorter height of the platform than if you were to install directly on your factory crossbars. Unfortunately, we do not carry any other platforms that can install directly to your flush rails of your vehicle.

With that being said, I recommend installing the LockNLoad on top of your factory crossbars. The size that Yakima recommends for your specific vehicle is the Yakima LockNLoad Platform Rack for Crossbars - Aluminum - 55" Long x 49" Wide # Y05044-39. This platform comes with the mounting hardware you need for installation on your crossbars. If you need straps to secure your cargo, I recommend the etrailer Cam Buckle Cinch Straps w/ Buckle Protectors - 1" x 13' # E98876-4.

If you need a little height boost when loading cargo on the LockNLoad, I recommend the Telesteps Telescopic Ladder - 10-1/2' Extended Height - 14' Reachable Height # TE34FR. The Telesteps will give you the height you need to easily load cargo onto your 2021 Chevy Tahoe.
