Will the wiring harness part# C55326 work on my vehicle?

The Curt # C55326 wiring harness is actually designed to fit certain model years of the Crown Victoria, Ford Mustant and Mercury Grand Marquis so I do not suggest it for your 2017 Explorer. However, the Curt # C56172 is a plug and play option for your Explorer. I included an install video we did with this on a 17 Explorer for you to take a look at as well.

If you were looking for a hitch as well, the Draw-Tite # 76034 will bolt directly to your Explorer without the need for any drilling. One of the other nice things about this hitch is the tab welded off center to attach a bracket like the # 18144 to. This will accept the 4 Flat plug from the C56172 and give you a nice clean look once everything is installed.
