Can Battery Jumper Pack be Used to Power 12 Volt Winch

Question:

I am wondering if the Strong Arm TW4015 winch would work well with a heavy duty jump starting pack that has 1,000 amp reserve rating rather than a 12 volt battery? I just sold my bigger boat that I had mounted a 9,000 lb pull Strong Arm winch. For that I mounted a 12 volt battery in a battery box on my trailer. Buying a new smaller boat and wondering if it would be easier just to use a good jump starter with good cranking amp reserve.

I wouldn't recommend using a jumper box for long term use as you may over heat it but there are quite a few people who have used them with winches like the Dutton Lainson StrongArm # TW4015 and it worked well.
