Finding A Replacement Electric Winch For 2007 Rockwood Popup Camper

Question:

2007 rockwood model#1904 premier electric pop up roof winch replacement what model winch would i need to replace old with a new one. does it come with all the wiring etc. does it come with directions on how to replace cabling /wiring etc ?? does it matter what manufacture /model i replace with or does it need to be the same model winch thats currently on trailer . thank you

When replacing the electric winch on your 2007 Rockwood popup camper, you want to look at the weight rating and mounting-plate bolt pattern of your current winch along with the dimensions to ensure fitment. It looks like the Superwinch LT3000 ATV Winch - Wire Rope - Roller Fairlead - 3,000 lbs # SW1130220 would be a great option for you. This winch is rated at 3,000lbs line pull and has a built-in brake to hold the load and also has dimensions of 13.2" long, 4-1/4" wide, and 4-1/4" tall. The mounting plate pattern is 3" by 4-7/8".

Everything necessary for installation and use will be included in the kit so you won't need anything else. I also recommend checking your battery at this time to make sure it is working properly.
