The lock and unlock wires on your 2011 Chevrolet Silverado will be a tan and a gray wire located under the sill plate in the wiring harness that goes under the drivers side seat. I spoke with my contact at Pop and Lock and he said the tan wire can sometimes be blue and tan as you have described.
To ensure you are locating the proper wires, I recommend using a test light like the Quickee Circuit Tester, # 3808. Once you find the wires that you think may be correct, probe the wire with the test light and activate the door locks. The test light should light up either with the unlock or the lock if it is the correct wire.

I found the tan and gray wires for lock/unlock but when I tap into them with my aftermarket keyless entry, it just ends up blowing a fuse and not working. Any ideas why?
