Installing The Curt A30 5th Wheel Hitch On A 2022 Chevy Silverado 3500

Question:
Currently have the Curt A30 for 2019 GMC hitch system. I’m going to be trading it in for a 2022 Chevy. Would buying the base for Chevy 2022 system only be need or would I need to buy the whole hitch and base?

If you have the Curt A30 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 30,000 lbs # C16070 then that is compatible with the prep package / puck system that your 2022 Silverado 3500 8' bed should have. You do not need to buy a new base or adapter. If you actually have a different 5th wheel hitch, or if your new truck happens to not have the prep package, then let me know and I will find what you need.
