Hi I have a 2021 Honda CRV that has liftgate assist. Will the liftgate open with the bike rake on?

Yes, the Thule Apex XT 2 Bike Rack for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # TH9024XT will be able to tilt back enough to allow access to the trunk on your 2021 Honda CRV. The bike rack must be empty in order to do this. I attached a demonstration video which shows this being done on a very similar SUV that you can look at for reference.

If you do not yet have a trailer hitch receiver installed on your CRV, I recommend installing the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 306-X7345.
