To connect to the POL fitting on your 100lb tank you'll need the MB Sturgis Propane Hose # 100022-144-MBS which has a male POL fitting and the MB Sturgis Disposable Propane Bottle Adapter Fitting # 204132-MBS which will connect to the 1"-20 fitting on the hose and to your green Type-1 fitting on your RV.

Yes, you can attach the Camco Propane Cylinder Gas Gauge and Leak Detector # CAM59023 between the Type-1 fitting and the # 204132-MBS. As the temperature cools, propane condenses and as the temperature rises, the propane will expand in the tank. As a result, your propane tank will provide different pressure readings depending upon the temperature of your tank, which may or may not match the actual amount of propane within the tank. This gauge has three indicators on it to give you an accurate gauge no matter the weather.
