I have a step through Ebike that weighs 46lbs. I will only carry 1 ebike. Battery can be taken out for transport so total wt of ebike is lighter. Can i use this trunk carrier?

Trunk bike racks are not typically recommended for electric bikes due to weight capacity issues, however, it seems as though you may be able to reduce the weight of your ebike down to the 35lb capacity of the Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # TH910XT. If you are able to reduce the weight down to 35lbs then you will also need to use an adapter bar like # RRRBCA021 since it is a step through bike.
