350 glk mercedes Hand held does not light up. The 12v plug has power. prodigy unit

The plug that plugs into the 12 volt outlet in the vehicle has a small fuse in it. You will need to take apart the plug to get to the fuse. If that fuse is bad, that is the problem. You should be able to find a replacement at a local auto parts store. To check to see if it is the fuse before taking the plug apart, you can try plugging it into another vehicle.
If you replace the fuse and it still does not work or if it does not work on another vehicle, replacement hand held units are available, # TK27FR. If you purchased the Prodigy RF # TK94FR, recently it may still be under warranty.
