The bottom mounts of the Swagman Straddler Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers # S80503 are designed to be adjustable, so there isn't a single width or distance. They are adjustable between 10-1/2" and 31" so as long as you have that width available to you on your A-frame trailer, which is standard so you should, you can use the rack.
