Question:
Can rollers be used on a pontoon boat trailer? It is a 16foot trailer and I would like to remove the float on carpeted bunks and have 6inch rollers on each of the 3 brackets for each pontoon. 16foot pontoon with a 10hp motor. Not that heavy.

You can definetly use roller bunks to replace the standard wooden bunks on the trailer for your 16' pontoon boat, but you would not want to use 6" rollers mounted on 3 different brackets, as they will not be adequate for supporting the weight of your boat.
With that said the easiest way to install roller bunks like the Boat Trailer Standard Roller Bunk - 4' Long- 10 Sets of 2 Rollers - by Dutton-Lainson # DL21754 you were looking at would be to keep the wooden bunks and mount the roller bunks directly to them.
You will need the same length roller bunks as your current wooden bunks if you keep or remove the wooden bunks, so if you have bunks longer than 4' you will need to go with the 5' Roller Bunks # CE27710 instead.
I included a videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
