Installation of Reese Rubber Bumpers # 30536 on a Reese Fifth-Wheel Trailer Hitch

Question:

Does the rubber pad go to the front of that main bracket or do they go on the rear? I have a 15K 5th wheel Hitch.

Expert Reply:

The Reese Replacement Rubber Bumpers # 30536 are intended for the side of the hitch closest to the cab. The pin head screw goes through the center of the rubber bumper and a speed nut goes through the bottom.
