Bumper Clearance for the Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack on a 2011 Nissan Rogue

Hi, Thank you for your video regarding the Kuat NV bike rack fit on a Nissan Rogue. Would you mind also please posting a video or pictures that shows the clearance between Kuat NV in the folded-up position and the Nissan Rogue bumper? Thanks!

I do have some information that will give you an idea of how much clearance you will have between the Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack, # NV22G-NA22G, and your 2011 Nissan Rogue, however, I do not currently have a Rogue on my lot to make a test fit video. As soon as we have a Rogue available for test fits, we will post a video.

What I can tell you is that the NV bike rack measures 7 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the bike rack. When we installed a trailer hitch on a 2011 Nissan Rogue, we found that the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole on the trailer hitch to the rear-most point of the bumper was only 4-1/2 inches. This would give you 2-1/2 inches of clearance between your rear bumper and the closest part of the bike rack.

If you have a factory installed trailer hitch, I recommend measuring the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the rear bumper so you have an accurate measurement of your equipment. OEM hitches can sometimes mount in a different location from aftermarket hitches.

The NV comes with an anti-rattle system to keep the bike from moving when it is installed in the hitch. This will ensure that the bike rack will not bounce forward and backward to possibly hit your vehicle.
