Is It Normal For Brake Light Of Custer Wireless LED Towbar Light LIW-LDTL-7B To Flash W/ Turn Signal

Question:

When I when I plug my lightbar in and check the signal light in the brake lights they come on solid but then they flicker and like when I hit my brakes and have a signal light on the brake light comes on but flickers with the signal light and I’m just trying to find out what the deal is with it is it didn’t look like that in the pictures that I looked at

It sounds like you are saying that when the brakes are pressed in your tow vehicle, and the turn signal is on at the same time, that the brake light on the Custer Wireless LED Tow Bar Light - Weatherproof - Magnetic Base - 23" Long - 7-Way Round # LIW-LDTL-7B flashes with the turn signal.

If that is the case, then everything is working correctly. On a 7-way connector like this light is powered by the brake signal and turn signal are powered by the same wire so their functions will be combined. This is normal for trailer/tow bar wiring lights.

If the flickering you mean is not the normal turn signal, then I recommend checking that the 7-way connector is securely connected in your tow vehicle's 7-way connector and that there is no debris in either connector.
