Rhino Rack Roof Rack Recommendation For 2002 Ford Excursion

Question:

I was looking at your recommended roof rack kits for a 2002 Ford Excursion with factory roof rails. I would like to have the maximum load carrying capability and longest bars. Something like the kit that includes RRVA137B-2 and RRRLT600. Would this be a good kit for my vehicle and do you offer a similar kit that would have longer bars? Maybe 60inch or even longer? Thank you!

When you are fitting a roof rack for your vehicle please remember that you can choose longer crossbars provided that they do not extend beyond the side-rview mirrors of your vehicle. Your 2002 Ford Excursion's roof rack will consist of the following;

Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 59" Long - Qty 2, part # RRVA150B-2 and the
Rhino-Rack Quick Mount Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars - RTC and RT Roof Rack Tracks - Qty 4, part # RRRLT600.

This roof rack has a weight limit of 220lbs. The 59" crossbars will add 2 1/2" length to each side of your roof rack. The next size up in crossbar length is the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 65" Long - Qty 2 will not fit because the underside channel where you mount the crossbar is not long enough. The crossbars are elliptical in shape to help reduce wind noise and help with fuel efficiency. This rack can be locked to your vehicle with the included locks and the crossbars can be locked to your Rhino Rack feet.
