Voyager Backup Camera For Trailer Without Plug For Camera

Question:
hi. When we took the back mount cover off to plug into our trailer, there was no plug. its a 2021 springdale and we were told it was mount ready. Should we assume the wires are there and we need to hard wire ?

Expert Reply:
If you were told your trailer was pre-wired, there would be a mounting plate and plug that would allow you to just connect a plug-in camera system. If that mount and plug is not there, I wouldn't assume the wires are there, though you can still install a Voyager camera system and hardwire it with the following:
