Question:

Is mounting screws part of the tail light assembly? If not what size do you recommend and are they rust proof? Thanks

Fasteners are not included with the Triple LED Trailer Tail Light # CE44VR. This is due to the different mounting surfaces that the lights can be mounted to. Depending on the surface that the lights will be mounted to will require different hardware to secure it.

You will want to use # 6 size fasteners and I would recommend stainless steel.

If going into thin steel or trailer walls that have a sheet metal backer you will want to use self taping screws that are approximately 1-1/2" long.

For trailer walls that do not have a backer you should use screws with anchors inside the wall to ensure that the screws do not pull from the fiberglass.

Remember to use some clear silicone to protect against water or insects from getting inside the holes.
