Testing Power to A-Frame Trailer Jack and Recommended Replacement For Failed Motor

The power quit but the manual override works and the light works. I tried replacing the switch to no avail.

It sounds as if the motor has failed on your tongue jack. You can verify by using a Test Light # PTW2993 on the wiring that runs to the motor. If you can confirm that you are getting power to the motor and all the wiring connections are tight then it must be a bad motor.
I recommend replacing it with a Lippert Smart Jack Electric Trailer Jack # LC643589. This jack has built in memory features as well as an auto retract feature. So you will be able to set your jack to remember your truck ball height making hooking up much faster. A battery meter on the jack will let you know if your trailer battery is getting low.
