Troubleshooting B&W Ball Mount Stuck In Surge Brake Actuator
Published 07/01/2021 >
Question:
Bought a boat last night, towed it back to my house and backed it onto my driveway. Spent almost two hours trying every which way to Sunday to get it to release, but it would not budge. Cranked up the jack as high as it would go and it started lifting my truck. Ended up having to take the entire receiver off my truck just so I could move to get to work today. Attached is the picture. Desperate need of help!

Sorry to hear your B&W Ball mount got stuck in the surge brake coupler of your new boat trailer!
Based on the picture you provided you should be able to remove the ball mount by disengaging the coupler latch located at the front of the coupler which I pointed out in the included picture.
If this does not release the ball send me a few pictures of the coupler from different angles so I can see exactly how the coupler latch on your actuator works.
