How do I jump 2 six volt batteries with a 12 volt battery?

In order to jump two 6v batteries they must first be wired in series. Then you'll attach the jumper cables in series for the jump.
Check out the picture I attached. The left diagram is batteries wired in series. You'd connect to the outside posts you see in the picture.
