Will Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch 41929 Fit 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 With Factory Hitch
Updated 06/30/2021 | Published 06/29/2021 >
Question:
41929. Im not understanding why it matters if the truck had a factory hitch installed. The truck does have a hitch installed currently, but its rusted and needs to be replaced. Can you please verify that this is the hitch I need? The vehicle is a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 ST 4x4, regular cab, 8 foot bed.

I can verify that your 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 with the factory hitch is absolutely compatible with the Draw-Tite hitch you asked about, which is the following part number:
- Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41929
This will actually fit an '04 Ram 1500 with or without the factory hitch, and I added a cut out for you of the linked installation instructions which specify this.
