Best Trailer for Carrying Up To Four Kayaks
Updated 06/29/2021 | Published 06/27/2021 >
Question:
Im looking at roof racks on wheels and kayak trailers. . Knowing nothing about these things, Ive narrowed what I think are my best options to MAL24ZR and MPG462G2. Between these two remaining options, MAL24ZR and MPG462G2 - Are they both able to carry three kayaks and allow us to use the space originally intended for a 4th boat to carry some gear? I assume that would take some accessorizing. This is important to us because we travel with another married couple and would like to be able to carry their two boats. Are both of these options put together such that I can easily remove the long bar in the front of each trailer to make them more compact for storing in our tiny, 100 year old garage?

The best trailer option we offer to carry four kayaks is the Malone MicroSport Trailer with J-Style Carriers for 4 Kayaks part # MPG462G2. This is the best option because it comes with the nicest carriers. The carriers are very easy to load the kayaks into and they are super simple to secure. They also have padding to protect the kayaks for scratches. If you only need to carry two kayaks, simply load them onto the outside carriers for the easiest install. You can remove the two not in use for more space or leave them in place for when needed. The trailer comes complete and ready to go (once assembled) with an extra spare wheel/tire as well. The tongue on any of the Malone trailers can be unbolted for a more compact storage.
