Air Bag Recommendation For 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel 4x4 & 1500 Classic

Question:

Looking for rear air bag assist for a 2019 Ram Rebel 4X4. Truck has no factory air suspension and I tow with a hitch. Looking for my options. Thanks

There are air bags that will fit your 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel 4x4 without the factory air suspension, with the only option being from Air Lift. You didn't mention whether you had the 1500 Classic or not, and there are different fits depending on what you have:

- 2019 Ram 1500: Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL88375

- 2019 Ram 1500 "Classic": Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL88365

I verified with the manufacturer these air bags are the correct fit, and they'll do a superb job of helping your truck stay level and improve its overall ride, just be sure to get the correct one depending on if you have the 1500 Classic or not.

Additionally, during the installation of these air bags, you are going to want to ensure your air lines are cut perfectly straight, and the best way to do this is by using the Air Hose Cutter # AL10530.

I also highly recommend a compressor because of how much simpler it is to monitor and maintain the proper pressure in the air bags, from the comfort of your cab as opposed to having to make stops along your trip to make sure the bags are the right psi. The best option for this is a wireless compressor with a remote or Bluetooth capability:
