The Draw-Tite Front Mount Hitch # 65050 will definitely fit your 2009 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. Though there is no drilling required for the install, you will need trim the fascia and if a front mounted license plate is present, you will need to add the Draw-Tite # 5443 license plate holder.
