Question:

Alpha Systems Superflex RV Roof Membrane with Installation Kit - Almond - 20foot x 9-1/2 Item # AL37UV Can the above item be installed onto the quicksilver fold up camper roofmade of either canvas or vinyl depending on the year to prevent leaks on the roof? I was reading that the seams are prone to leaking but that it is not recommended to apply sealant to the seams. Would applying this roof membrane be a fix that will stand up to being able to be folded and unfolded repeatedly.

The Alpha Systems Superflex RV Roof Membrane with Installation Kit, # AL37UV is not designed for canvass tent material used with pop-up style campers but over the top of solid roofs.

The Camco Pro-Tech Patch Kit for RVs w/ Rubber Roofs, # CAM41461 has been used successfully on the fabric of pop-up campers.
