What Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier Do You Recommend for a 2015 Mazda CX-9 for 3 Kayaks?

Question:

My 2015 Mazda CX-9 has no roof rack whatsoever yet - Id like to have my body shop install factory raised rails for me but would like to get the right/best rack and crossbars so that I could load 3 kayaks on the roof with this product - what should I request? Also Id like a rack thats permanently installed so that I take stuff on and off as little as possible- I kayak just half hour from my home frequently and want this quick and be able to leave it on while I drive around town at other times. thank you!!

For a complete roof rack system for your 2015 Mazda CX-9 with factory raised rails, I recommend the following parts:

- Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA126B-2
- Rhino-Rack SX Series Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars - Raised Factory Side Rails - Qty 4 # RRSX100

As far as a kayak carrier that can hold 3 kayaks that can be left installed on your vehicle when not transporting your kayaks, I recommend the Rhino-Rack Nautic Stack Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs - Post Style - Folding - 4 Kayaks # RRS520. I confirmed with Rhino-Rack that the Nautic Stack can stay mounted on your vehicle unless if you go through a car wash. Th Nautic Stack comes with the 2 tie-down straps with cam buckles as well as 2 bow/stern ties.
