Recommended Roof Rack to Carry Kayaks and Paddleboards on 2021 Mazda 6

Question:

Im looking for a rack for kayak and paddle boards for my 2021 Mazda 6. Do you have everything I need for this? Also, how fast down the road can you safely drive with 2 paddleboards on top? Thanks!

I recommend using the Rhino Rack Roof for 2021 Mazda 6 that uses parts # RRVA126B-2, # RRRLKVA and # DK387, which will give you a really nice and durable Rhino Rack roof rack. I really like Rhino Rack as an alternative to Thule or Yakima because you're getting comparable quality and looks at a bit more pocketbook friendly price. This will provide a nice base to carry your kayak and paddle boards, which will need carriers.

The carrier I recommend is the LockRack XL # LR54FR since it can carry a kayak or up to 2 paddleboards and comes with a load assistance feature to make getting everything up on the roof a breeze.

I've linked a short review video of the LockRack that I recommend checking out to see how great of a carrier is if you've got some heavier boards/boats. I've also linked our entire selection of kayak carriers that would also work on those Rhino Rack bars.
