Question:

Hello. What is the distance between the bottom of edge of the cross bars and the top of the roof? Have a 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid with no existing rails or cross bars. Also if I wanted to add on the Thule locking kit, do I need a different foot pack or is it just an add on? Thanks.

For the Thule square bar roof rack that fits your 2020 Ford Escape with a naked roof part numbers # TH712500, # TH710501, and # TH36RV you'd need the part number # TH450400 to add a matching lock set for the feet of the rack. There will be right around 4 inches from the bottom of the crossbar to your roof but since your roof is round the dimension would not be 4 inches all the way across.
