Aqua Pro. Magnesium-Anode Rod I bought today will not fit into an Atwood hot water heater. Has an expert run into this problem ?

We don't offer Aqua-Pro so haven't heard anything about them and don't have any experience with how they work or fit. There are magnesium water heater anode rods we know for certain work with Atwood water heaters, which are the following:
- Camco RV Water Heater Anode Rod - Magnesium - 1/2" Diameter x 4-1/2" Long # CAM11553
or
- (10 Gallon Atwood Water Heater only): Camco RV Water Heater Anode Rod - Magnesium - 1/2" Diameter x 9-1/2" Long # CAM11593
