Does 2019 Volvo XC40 Need To Be Programmed By Dealer After Installing Stealth Hitches SH77FRT?

Hello, Is the necessary software provided to enable the Volvo towing features break lights, automatic trailer sway correction, disabling of rear parking sensors, etc included in this package? Is this only possible by going to the dealer and having them program it, or would etrailer possibly be able to provide this service along with installation

After installing the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit - Custom Fit - 2" # SH77FRT on your 2019 Volvo XC40 you will need to have your local Volvo dealer flash the computer to activate the towing features. Unfortunately that is not something anyone other than Volvo is able to do.
