Question:
2019 GMC 2500 Denali Integrated brake controller. I installed a Hydrastar 1200 PSI actuator onto my boat trailer using a prodigy II controller in my old Chevrolet 2500 2006 Duramax. Now I have upgraded to the above 2019 truck with the built in controller , will I need the HBA adapter to make it work. Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 2019 GMC Sierra 2500 with the factory brake controller, you will not need to use the HydraStar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Adapter Module # HBA-CAM along with the HydraStar Vented Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator - 1,200 psi # HS381-8066.
HydraStar has confirmed for us that the factory controllers on 2018 and up GMC/Chevy trucks are compatible with these actuators.
