Do You Need a Flex Brake Hose to Install the Titan T4846600?
Updated 06/04/2021 | Published 06/03/2021 >
Question:
Hi I am replacing a bent actuator hitch on a customers trailer and I have a new one from you folks. My question is the original actuator hitch has a brake flex hose from the master to a hard line running back from there. If everything is solid mounted and the master doesnt move do I need to have a flex hose there? The original hose is poor and the new actuator is a little further back and I could get a hose built here in town but it doesnt make 100 sense for it to need to be a flex hose Thanks

You do not need to have a flex line coming from the back of the # T4846600. That is really just there to make the install easier as it allows you to not have to get the hard line exactly the right length.
