Question:

I would like to know what base plate I need for a 2021 GMC Canyon to connect to a Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain Tow Bar, RM-576. Also can you recommend a diode wiring kit, battery disconnect kit, and a supplemental brake system. My coach has air brakes. Thanks Gary!

I'd recommend a direct connect type base plate, like the Roadmaster # RM37VR. For a diode kit, I'd go with
part # RM-15267, and for an automatic battery disconnect, use # RM-766 from Roadmaster, which is compatible with gas engine equipped Canyon models with a single battery.

For a supplemental braking system I'd recommend the Demco Air Force One, part # SM99243. The beauty of a permanently mounted system like this is that it's always ready to use. Just connect the tow bar, plug in the wiring umbilical and air hose and off you go.
