Question:
I have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler unlimited. I have installed a Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller and 7 pin connector. I have electric breaks on my camper… Camper is 2021 Forest River Wildwood FSX platinum 167RBK. The problem I’m having is, when the vehicle is running the Redarc stops calibrating and flashes red… This error code from the owner’s manual indicates a low voltage from vehicle to camper… All lights work from vehicle to camper, turn signals, marker lights and breaks lights.. I have checked the ground points on the Redarc and camper… Do not know what to check next?

I reached out to my contact at Redarc regarding the Flashing Red Light error your Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR is having, and he mentioned that the most common cause for this is a bad ground connection.
You will need to check that the ground on the # RED44FR is securely connected to clean corrosion free metal along with the ground on the # ETBC7 you installed. Lastly check that the main ground on the tongue of the camper is secure, and the ground wires coming off each brake magnet.
The only other cause for this line is if the trailer uses electric over hydraulic brakes, and would mean the hydraulic actuator is not working.
If you check all of the grounds and find no issues just send me a picture of the white sticker on the # RED44FR so I can provide that information to Redarc to hopefully find the solution.
I included a video of the # RED44FR for you to take a look at.
