You won't want to wire both functions to a single switch like the Replacement Single-Panel On/Off Switch for Atwood Gas and Electric Water Heaters - Black # AT91959 since it wouldn't allow for proper functioning. You would want to wire each power source for your water heater to a switch like the # AT91959 or the Replacement Double-Panel On/Off Switch for Dometic Gas / Electric Combination Water Heaters - White # AT91230.
