Question:
I have a new 2021 Kia Telluride and looked to see where to attach the bow tie down strap, thought I would ask an expert before purchasing. The rear is no issue since there is a factory trailer hitch. Any help would be greatly appreciated

The Yakima SweetRoll Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs # Y04074 can be attached to basically any sturdy hooking point on the front of your vehicle. I took a look at the front end of the 2021 Kia Telluride and I agree that there appears to be no good hooking point for the kayak tie-down straps to attach to. Luckily, there is a solution.
You can simply use Malone QuickLash T-Style Hood Loops for Bow and Stern Tie-Downs - Qty 2 # MPG308. This comes with two T-style loops; one can be installed under your hood to provide a front anchor point for the kayak tie-downs, and the other one can be used in the trunk to provide an anchor point for the rear of the kayak. Since you already have a rear tie-down point (trailer hitch receiver) you wouldn't need to use the rear T loop. I attached demonstration videos for you.
