Helpful Expert Reply:
The Solera Awning Rail Extrusion - Black - 8' # LC715217 has mounting holes that are about 1/4" in diameter. The Self-Tapping Screw - 1/4" -14 x 3/4" # FA1131822 is the recommended screw for this and you will also need LaSalle Bristol XTRM Butyl Tape - 45' L x 1-1/2" W # 344270341411-1. I attached a demonstration video for you.
