The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13186 is a confirmed fit for the Ford Escape on the 2013-2019 models. Outside of this range of years, the # C13186 is not confirmed to fit.
I see that you put an 08 Escape in our vehicle fit guide. I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 13650 if you are looking for a hitch for the 08 Escape.
