Does 2013 Toyota Sienna with Timbrens Need Weight Distribution Hitch
Updated 05/26/2021 | Published 05/24/2021 >
Question:
Towing with a 2013 Toyota Sienna. 3500 lbs. towing capacity. Transmission cooler and Timbren Stops installed. Purchased a 1700 lbs. Flagstaff MAC pop up 250 lbs. tongue weight. Should I be concerned with rear sag? Dealer says a weight distribution hitch would bend the pop up frame. Is this true? If not what do you suggest? Or am I worrying too much and just enjoy it?

Expert Reply:
With the Timbrens # TTORSEN04 installed on your 2013 Toyota Sienna I wouldn't worry about weight distribution for a tongue weight of only 250 lbs. If the dealer says your pop up shouldn't be used with a WD system too that's even more reason not to.
